Kott Foundation Grants

Grant funding to charitable organizations that improve the livelihood of individuals, especially through education or medical services, with an emphasis on such services for the elderly.

The Kott Memorial Charitable Trust is now accepting online applications here: Kott 2023 Grant Application. See grant application Guidelines here: 2023 Kott Trust Request for Proposals.

The deadline for applications is June 30, 2023.

Recipients of Kott Foundation grants are required to submit a final grant report so that we may learn about the work and impact the grant funding has helped to achieve. Final reports must be submitted in order to be considered for future funding. The 2022-23 Final Grant Report is due online by November 15, 2023.

Kott Gerontology Institute Scholars Program

Supported since 2004 by grants from the Russell and Josephine Kott Memorial Charitable Trust, the Kott Gerontology Institute awards paid internships to advanced graduate students attending universities in the chicago area to work with senior citizens. A full academic year of intensive training helps interns, representing a variety of professions, to develop skills that prepare them to create and deliver services to senior citizens after graduation. Internships are provided by a consortium of community-based agencies serving the elderly in suburban Chicago.
